I love photography. I love being a part of the most important events in the lives of people whom I may otherwise never meet. And more than that, I am the guy they chose to photograph those events... Talk about a self-esteem booster! But it is pretty intense as well; after all, they trusted me to be the one guy responsible for capturing and preserving some once-in-a-lifetime moments. That requires diligence, patience, and a lot of fail-safe equipment!
I love the giddiness of new parents right before they get their baby's first pictures, and of a newlywed couple eagerly going through their proofs as we put together the album. That is why I do this - getting to share in so much happiness is absolutely worthwhile.
